Three San Marcos golfers shot their lowest scores and Melissa Jewkes earned medalist honors in the Royals’ 256-306 non-league golf win over Pacifica at River Ridge Golf Course on Monday.
Jewkes shot a 45 to lead San Marcos. Emily Peterson shot career-best 46, Brittany Peretiako fired a low of 48 and Kelsey Gellert had her best round at 54.
“All three of these scores combined with Melissa gives us our lowest score of the season,” said San Marcos coach Shawn Ricci. “Hopefully the girls can continue this tomorrow as we take on Santa Barbara at Santa Barbara Golf Club.”
