Isabella Doub added another medalist performance to her resume at par 35 Rancho Maria Golf Course. Doub shot a 37 as her team went on to defeat Orchid Academy 219-280.
The rest of the Santa Barbara team had fine outings as well, with every player scoring 50 or under.
“It was good to see Christina [Buchanan] shoot 50 as a freshman,” head coach Ryan Throop said.
Santa Barbara (9-3 overall, 2-0 league) will need another sold all-around performance for their next match on Tuesday against Dos Pueblos at Glenn Annie Golf Course, as the match will likely determine the Channel League championship.
