Isabella Doub shot 40 and helped lead Santa Barbara High’s girls golf team to a 249-320 victory against Pacifica at Montecito Country Club on Tuesday.
Doub’s low round helped the Dons better their score by double-digits as a team from the team’s previous round at Montecito.
“She helped her team improve by 11 shots,” said Dons coach Ryan Throop, who played four freshman that are “continuing to improve.”
Adding to Santa Barbara’s win was Claudia Fanaro with 47, Saralisa Ortega with 49, Haley Powell with 54, and Caitlyn Morton with 59.
The Dons (2-2) travel to River Ridge to play Pacifica on Thursday and start Channel League play next week.
