Santa Barbara’s gold team dropped four matches in tiebreakers and lost a 10-8 decision to Menlo in the third-place match at the California High School Girls Tennis Classic in Clovis on Saturday.
The Dons earlier were beaten by Archbishop Mitty 5-2 in the semifinals. Mitty lost in the final to Monte Vista, 5-2.
Santa Barbara’s green team finished second in its division.
