Lacey Bushey led the offense with 11 kills while Kylie Augerot led the defense with 13 digs as the Carpinteria girls volleyball team beat Hueneme away in four sets.
The scores in the match were 25-23, 23-25, 25-18, and 25-19.
“Games one and two were a little bit shaky,” head coach Katie Dolge said. “In games 3 and four we really picked up our serving.”
Maddie Brooks served better than anyone on the night, and ended with five aces to help the Warriors to their first win of the season.
Carpinteria (1-4) starts Frontier League play next week at home against Santa Clara onTuesday.
