Despite good showings by the singles players, the Bishop Diego girls tennis team was unable to earn a victory, and lost to Orchid Academy 14-4.
Meredith Amspoker and Emilee Krablin each went 2-1, but no doubles team was able to earn a point for Bishop Diego.
The Cardinals (2-0) play next against St. Bonaventure at Ventura College on Tuesday.
