Gonzalito Pieres poured in 13 goals to lead Audi to a 17-14 win over Grants Farm on the opening day of play of the Bombardier Pacific Coast Open polo tournament on Thursday at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club.
In other opening games, Adolfo Cambiaso scored two late goals to give Lucchese an 11-10 victory over Piaget; Mansour got solid play from Juan Gonzalez and Sapo Caset and beat ERG 14-13.
