Hope you all are enjoying the last bit of summer! I can’t believe it is already almost over! Anyways, I just thought I would give you guys a brief update on what happening in my world.
Well, as some of you might know it has been a pretty hectic but good summer for me. The U.S. Open was a blast and I was so excited to win the Jr. Pro and get second in the Open. It has been a goal of mine for a long time to make the finals and win the Jr, so that was a big accomplishment for me!
A big thanks to Nike and Hurley for putting on such a great event as well.
After the U.S. Open I didn’t have much down time… the next weekend, I had the Super Girl Pro jr. It was the last Pro Junior of the season, so it was great to top off the season with a win. Since then I have just been home, hanging out with my friends, talking to boys… just being a normal teenager.
It’s been a great time to just relax for a bit! However, I only have a week left at home then I am off to Sri Lanka! There is a 6 star QS event over there. I am really excited to go because I heard that the wave is great, and the place is BEAUTIFUL!! Don’t worry I will make a video blog for you guys!
My mom just told me that we are going to ride on elephants!! Yay, SO EXCITED! Anyways that is what is next for me, then from there I am off to Spain and Portugal. I’ll write to you guys before then though!!
