The UCSB men’s soccer team is ranked 10th in Soccer America’s Preseason Top 25.
The Gauchos, who open their regular season on Saturday at home against Seattle, are ranked in two other preseason polls: 9th by College Soccer News and 14th by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.
UCSB is playing four teams in Soccer America’s Top 25: No. 2 UCLA, No. 4 Akron, No. 12 Duke and No. 17 West Virginia.
Louisville, last year’s College Cup runnerup, is the No. 1 team in the SA rankings, which are determined by the publication’s editors
