WICHITA — The Santa Barbara Foresters will play for their third Mational Baseball Congress World Series championship in six years on Saturday at Lawrence-Dumont Stadium. Their opponent will be the Kenai (AK) Oilers, with first pitch set for 4 p.m. PDT. Santa Barbara is 6-0 in the tournament, and as the only unbeaten team will have two chances (if needed) to pick up a win against the Oilers. Should it be necessary, a second game will begin shortly after the conclusion of the first.
The game will be broadcast live on AM 990 and online at www.sbforesters.org.
