Santa Barbara triathlon veteran Taj Hudson won the aquathon at Wednesday night’s Nite Moves Series at Leadbetter Beach.
Hudson, 40, covered the 1k ocean swim in 15:43 and the 5k run in 23:06 for a total time of 38:49. Jefferson Litten, 33, was second in 39:26 and Brian Roth, 36, third in 39:30.
The top woman finisher was Lindsay Covington of Ventura in 39:43 (fourth overall).
Walker Bell, 14, won his 11th 1k swim of the season in a time of 12:48. Zach Paris came in next at 13:08 and Adrienne Binder finished third in 13:14.
In the 5k run, 15-year-old Cole Smith of Goleta took first place in 17:32. Steve Lee of Ventura came in second in 18:09 and Richard Souleles, 17, was third in 18:16. Addi Zerrenner, 15, was the first female finisher (sixth overall) in 18:48.
