Dos Pueblos Little League erupted for 10 runs in the second inning and defeated Montalvo 10-3 to win its pool in the District 63 12-Under All-Star Tournament on Wednesday.
Dos Pueblos will take on Ventura Foothill in the four-team, double-elimination round on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Girsh Park. Goleta Valley South and Montalvo meet in the other game at 1:30 p.m.
Matt Shotwell had two hits in the second inning, Austin Bull scored twice, Jake Yamasaki scored a run and drove in a run and Chris Noggle hit a two-run double in the wild second inning for Dos Pueblos.
