Jake Yamasaki hit a solo home run and went 3-for-3 to lead the Dos Pueblos Little League 12-Under All-Stars to a 5-0 win over Orcutt National in the first game of the Section Tournament in Moorpark on Saturday.
Wyatt Boyle and Austin Bull combined on a three-hit shutout and struck out 10. Boyle struck out three batters in two innings and Bull fanned seven in four innings of work.
Dos Pueblos jumped on Orcutt for three runs in the first inning, all with two outs. With the bases loaded, Yamasaki singled in Chris Noggle, Matt Shotwell drove in Bull and Wyatt Boyle scored on a passed ball.
Yamasaki hit his solo homer in the fifth.
Shotwell went 2-for-3 with an RBI.
