The Santa Barbara Strikers won three tournaments during the AYSO postseason.
The Santa Barbara Strikers finished second in the annual Santa Barbara AYSO Splash Soccer Tournament.
The under-12 boys all-star team fell to Arcadia 3-2 in the final after battling back to tie the score at 2-2.
Another Santa Barbara team, Wavestorm, coached by Brad Hempy, came in third in the tournament.
In postseason play, the Strikers competed in seven tournaments throughout southern and central California and captured three titles, with one runner-up finish and three third-place finishes.
The Strikers posted a record of 26-7-2 and outscored their opponents 131-48.
The Strikers were coached by Terry Benedetto and Rich Gonzales, and assisted by Dick Drew.
The team roster was made up of Miles Baldwin, Chad Benedetto, Holden Corrigan, Sam Drew, Harrison Foy, Logan Foy, Ben Garner, Quin Gonzalez, Mason Metcalfe, Ryder Rivadeneyra, Jonas Romero, Dennis Tank and Tor Weiland.
