Well my time in Europe has come to an end… I have loved every second of it!
I think mostly because I have not been back here since I was 5 years old, so it was all new to me!
I have some exciting news as well!! I just finished 2nd in a 6-star QS over here in Portugal! It’s the bet result I have had in a QS before, so it felt good to leave Europe with a bang. The contest was in Estoril, Portugal at a beach called Guincho. The wave is a small beach break with a lot of wind all the time. However, it is one of the most beautiful beaches I think I have ever been to, and I have been to A LOT of beaches!
The waves were not too good for the contest but I had fun. The only problem was once I got on the awards stand, I didn’t know how to pop the champagne bottle! haha I figured it out after about 5 minutes. But I guess that’s a good thing I don’t know how to do it. : )
Overall, this trip has been a great learning experience for me. And win, lose, or draw that’s what I came here to do, get experience.
I loved being in Europe and I can’t wait to come back next year!
