The Goleta Valley Girls Softball Thunder, a 12-under all-star team, went 5-0 and outscored its opponents 58-12 to win the Paso Robles Tournament
The Thunder got solid pitching and hitting from Delaney Smith, Malia Carrasco and Chloe Matson. The team batted .560 in the tournament.
The rest of the Thunder lineup include Jade Sinskul, Anya Schmitz, Sam Yanes, Olivia Harris, Cara Christian, Siena Wagner and Lauren Marmo.
The team is seeking to win the Central California title for the third year in a row. The Goleta Valley Girls Softball Association will host the tournment, June 25-26 at Dos Pueblos High and Elings Park.
