Junior Hannah Harris, who pitched every game for the Dos Pueblos softball team and led the Chargers to the CIF Division 4 championship, was named the division’s Player of the Year.
Harris’ dad, Lee Harris, and co-coach Donn Roberts, were picked as the Coaches of the Year in the division.
Harris went 22-9 with an earned-run average of 1.03. She allowed only one run in five playoff wins for the Chargers, who captured the title with a 5-0 win over Fontana Kaiser.
DP senior second baseman Jordan Roberts were selected to the All-CIF Division 4 first team. She was one of team’s best clutch hitters, driving a team-high 20 runs. She is the daughter of coach Roberts.
In Division 6, Carpinteria sophomore pitcher Catalina Maldonado, was a first-team honoree.
