Wyatt Boyle slugged two home runs and drove in three to lead the Dos Pueblos Little League 11-12 All-Stars to a 9-1 win over Carpinteria in a pool play game of the District 63 Tournament at Girsh Park on Sunday.
Zach Steinberger, Will Parker and Matt Nichols each scored two runs, and Nichols held Carpinteria scoreless for five innings, allowing three hits while striking out seven.
Jake Yamasaki closed out the game on the mound striking out two batters and allowing only one run.
Next game for DPLL is against Fillmore on Tuesday, June 28, at 5:30 p.m. at Girsh Park.
