UCSB’s golf team placed sixth at the Big West Conference Championship on Tuesday at the Mission Viejo CC.
Glen Scher took team-high honors for the Gauchos with a 14-over par 230, tying him for 19th in the 45-player field.
UCSB senior Tyler Weir tied for 22nd-place with a 16-over 232 in the three-round event.
Austin Graham of UC Davis earned medalist honors with a 6-under 210, leading the Aggies to the team title for the second time in three years.
