Bishop Diego’s Shannon Slaught earned a pair of runner-up finishes at the CIF Division 4 swimming championships on Thursday night at Belmont Plaza in Long Beach,
Slaught finished second in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:06.43. The winning time of 1:04.54 was a meet record.
Slaught clocked 25.04 for a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle. The winning mark was 24.89.
Laguna Blanca’s Milo Filip posted a fifth-place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:50.48) and a sixth in the 500 free (4:52.35).
