Six members of the SBCC women’s tennis team have been named to the All-WSC squad, led by Kendra Ross who earned first-team honors at No. 6 singles.
Second-team choices in singles included Nicci Yvanovich at No. 2, Amy Sagraves at No. 3 and Meike van Hoogenhuijze at No. 4.
In doubles, Ross and Betsy Sauer were second-team selections at No. 2, along with Van Hoogenhuijze-Anna Slyutova at No. 3. Yvanovich-Sagraves, the No. 1 doubles duo, were honorable mention. Yvanovich-Sagraves reached the Southern Cal Regional semifinals while Yvanovich-Sauer made the State semifinals.
The Vaqueros were 10-4 this season and finished second in the WSC with an 8-2 mark. Their only two conference losses were to Santa Monica, which went on to capture the state championship.
