Oaks Christian slugged a grand slam in the third inning and added six runs in the fourth en route to a 15-3 rout of Carpinteria in a Tri-Valley League baseball game on Wednesday.
“We don’t have a lot of answers for them,” Carpinteria coach Pat Cooney said. “They have a group of seniors, several going to Division 1 schools.”
Marcus Hutchinson and Jose Carrillo each had two hits for the Warriors, who fell to 6-12, 1-8 in the TVL. Oaks Christian is 9-0 in league.
