Cate’s Blake Mackall dropped a 6-2, 6-4 match to University sophomore Stefan Menichella in the Round of 32 of the CIF Individual Tennis Championships at the Whittier Narrows Tennis Center on Thursday.
Menichella is one of the top players in Southern California. He helped University reach the Division 1 team final.
