Santa Barbara softball finished out the year with a shut-out loss to Ventura, 10-0, at Ventura.
Ventura’s Becca Bernard had a dominating offense performance with two home runs. The first was a two-run homer in the 4th inning and the second was a solo in the sixth inning. Bernard also pitched a complete game for the Cougars.
“We didn’t have a great game to finish the year, but I’m really proud of how this team grew as individuals and a group throughout the season,” said coach Alex Sheldon
The Dons finished 6-17 overall and were winless in league play.
