Elyse Rodriguez and Myriah Diaz hit two-run homers to highlight a 13-run third inning, and Carpinteria rolled past Villanova 21-1 on a Frontier League softball game on Thursday.
Rodriguez, Carmen Campi and Catalina Maldonado all had three hits for the Warriors (12-3, 4-0). Rodriguez drove in five runs, Campi had four RBIs and Maldonado brought in two and scored two.
Tatiana Verdugo pitched the win, striking out nine with no walks and only two hits.
