Westmont baseball lost both ends of a Golden State Athletic Conference doubleheader at Point Loma Nazarene (21-16, 16-13) on Wednesday, falling 14-1 in the first game and 7-6 in the second.
Starter Dan Cabuling took the loss in the opener. He pitched three and one-third innings, giving up six runs on 12 hits. He struck out four but walked three. Garrett Lavsen pitched seven innings for the Sea Lions to earn the win. Levsen limited the Warriors to just four hits.
Chris Plance was charged with the loss in the second game. Plance pitched seven innings, giving up seven runs on 10 hits. Plance struck out three and walked four. Jack Archie was awarded the win for Point Loma after pitching seven and one-third innings in which he gave up five runs on 11 hits.
Westmont falls to 15-24, 7-20 in the GSAC. Point Loma is 21-16, 16-13.
