San Marcos swept the doubles sets for the fourth time this season in a 12-6 Channel League tennis win over Buena on Thursday.
The Royals improve to 11-4, 5-2 in league and maintain sole possession of second place.
Owen Lincoln paired with Burke McComb to win their first set together on varsity by an impressive score of 6-0.
“Owen and Burke have worked hard to improve their game and it showed today,” San Marcos coach Jarrod Bradley said. “They returned serves consistently, returned well and won a ton of points at the net. We’re really going to need them in the future.”
The Royals face Dos Pueblos in the last match of the regular season on Monday at Dos Pueblos.
