For the third consecutive round, the Santa Barbara boys golf team all scored under 80, and Mickey Kirby shot a 3-under par 69 to defeat San Marcos 375-416 at Sandpiper Golf Course.
Kirby was the medalist for the day, making five birdies and only two bogeys.
With the final league road win, Santa Barbara (14-3, 5-1) clinches a playoff spot and remains in the hunt for the league title.
“I’m very proud of the way the boys played in the final league road match,” said Santa Barbara coach James Bedard. “Mickey played very solid golf today, getting off to a good start, making birdies on the first two holes.”
Dylan Wright and Dustin Dalee led the way for San Marcos (1-5), each player finishing with a score of 80.
