Hannah Harris pitched a complete game for Dos Pueblos softball, striking out seven and allowing only one run to push the Chargers over Santa Barbara 8-1 on Tuesday.
Harris got the first 12 hitters out before she was affected by allergies in the fifth inning. Santa Barbara was able to capitalize with one run in the fifth.
The Dons struggled with errors, combining for a total of five for the game. The first inning marked the most crucial mistakes, where the Chargers were able to take advantage of the Dons’ miscues and score five runs.
Marisa Radeke finished 3-for-4 with one RBI and one scored run.
With the win, Dos Pueblos moved to 7-0 in the Channel league, and 13-7 overall. Santa Barbara fell to 0-8 and 6-14 overall.
