It took four games for Dos Pueblos to bring down Buena on Thursday, winning 25-20, 25-22, 22-25, and 25-22 at home.
Gabe Burdick led the way for the Chargers with 12 kills, 2 aces and 2 digs. Jackson Wopat stepped up defensively with 4 blocks, while pitching in with 6 kills and 2 aces. Kevin Pappas had 10 kills.
“Some of the guys really stepped up and played well. It was a good match all around,” said DP coach Chris Hughes.
Dos Pueblos moved to 9-7 overall, and 2-1 in league. They play Valencia in Santa Barbara’s Karch Kiraly Tournament of Champions on Friday.
