The Dos Pueblos Sluggers 11 & Under team won the Fool's Gold Tournament in Huntington Beach
Dos Pueblos Sluggers 11&U boys took 1st place in the USSSA (United States Specialty Sports Association) Baseball 2011 Fool’s Gold Tournament held in Huntington Beach, April 2-3. The Sluggers won the Gold Division Championship by beating this year’s USSSA Winter State Champions, the Garden Grove Matadors 11-5.
The Sluggers championship team included: Nicholas Baker, Ashton Borgeson, Isaac Coffey, Davey Demeter, Jed Donelan, Gavin Haimovitz, Thomas Jimenez, Dylan Kelley, Jake McBride, Jake Monroe, Zach Wright, and Will Yamasaki.
The champions were led by Manager/Head Coach, Dave Demeter and Assistant Coaches: Kent McBride, Billy Kelley and David Jimenez.
Way to go, Davey & Isaac; you guys are AWESOME!!!!
