Dos Pueblos was involved in another close golf match on Tuesday.
The Chargers were on the short end of 376-377 decision against Buena at the Olivas Links golf course in Ventura.
Dos Pueblos has suffered three league losses by a combined five strokes.
“We could easily be 6-1, instead of 3-4,” claimed DP coach Rob Schiff.
Buena’s players shot their best rounds of the year, Schiff noted.
“Our luck has been teams have shot really well against us. Buena played well at their own course,” said Schiff.
With the loss, the Chargers put themselves in a must-win situation against San Marcos on Thursday, as they fight to make the playoffs.
Chargers Carson Curtis was the medalist for the day, finishing with a 3-under par 69.
Buena was led by Dirk Guthrae, who finished with a 71.
