Carpinteria’s swim teams swept Santa Clara to remain undefeated in Frontier League competition.
The Warriors won the girls meet 86-64, while the boys dominated the Saints 75-12. Both teams are 3-0 in the league.
Carter Grant won the 200 individual medley (2:32.64) and 100 breaststroke (1:22.70) and was part of two winning relay teams for the Carpinteria girls. She was joined by Maddie Brooks, Hope Grant and Kalia Diloia on the 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
Carpinteria also won the 400 free relay with the team of Leticia Cruz, Morgan Cook, Andrea Delgado and Torrey Rasmussen. The girls are 7-0 overall.
In the boys meet, Thomas Fly of the Warriors won the 200 free (2:05.12) and 100 free (56.6), and anchored the winning 400 free relay with Jonathon Kubota, Josh Villegas, and Dylan Hathaway.
Carpinteria won the 200 medley relay with Jacob Pate, Casey Walter, Allen Chavez and Kubota, and took the 200 free relay with the team of Pate, Walter, Chavez and Villegas.
The Warrior boys are 6-1 overall.
