Carpinteria was swept by powerful Oaks Christian in a Tri-Valley League track and field meet on Wednesday.
The Warriors won five events in an 83-52 loss in the boys meet. Alex Rodriguez won the 400 in 53.31; Leo Arroyo took the 1600 in 5:26.62; Travis Madden captured the 3200 in 10:44.51; Andrew Hack won the 300 hurdles in 51.92 and Wyatt Craddock finished first in the the shot put at 42-4.
Shelby Dunlap won both the 100 hurdles in a season-best 16.08 and the 300 hurdles in 47.98.
Oaks Christian won the meet 104-26.
Carpinteria’s girls are 1-4 in the TVL and 2-4 overall. The boys are 0-4, 1-4.
