Bishop Diego volleyball swept Malibu, 25-17, 25-16, 25-17, on Thursday, improving its record to 10-5 overall and 4-2 in the Tri-Valley league.
Johnny Brand led the way for the Cardinals, pounding 11 kills on 15 attacks without any errors. Nic Mon also pitched in with 8 kills and 6 digs for the game.
“We missed a good amount of serves, but overall it was a solid showing for us,” said coach Jason Donnelly.
Bishop Diego’s next game is on Tuesday, April 12th against Fillmore.
