Santa Barbara Breakers’ bigs Rashid Byrd and Mike Boone each grabbed 14 rebounds and five blocks to help them earn a high-scoring win against Venice Beach Ninjas, 126-119, at the SBCC Sports Pavilion
The 7-foot-1 Byrd finished with 23 points and the 7-3 Boone dropped 14.
Deon Marcus, a 6-8 power forward from Arizona State, had a team-high 29 points and Tim Taylor finished with 25.
The Breakers moved to 7-1 in the WCBL and 16-2 overall.
