Cate’s three singles players lost only four games to lead a 14-4 Condor League tennis victory over Laguna Blanca on Wednesday.
No. 1 player Blake Mackall and No. 2 Austin Lokre both won 6-0, 6-0, 6-0, while Gregory Mak went 6-0, 6-1, 6-3.
“We had some close sets in doubles, winning all the close sets,” said Cate coach Bob Bonning.
The Rams improve to 3-0 in league play and 4-6 overall.
Cate will be sending a team to play at the Ojai Valley Invitational next week. Mackall and Mak are playing doubles, and Lokre will represent the school in the CIF singles.
