Providence Hall swimmer Kellie St. Oegger is taking on the Lions’ first swim season in CIF by herself this year, charting new territory for the Lions as she goes.
St. Oegger competed in her third meet of the season on Saturday at the Villanova Invitational and set two school records in the 50 free and 500 free. St. Oegger first swam the 50 free in a time of 30.67 seconds.
“After the race, several people approached Kellie and her coach to find out who she was, and who is Providence Hall,” said Lions Athletic Director Keith Luberto.
St. Oegger then won her heat in the 500 free with a time of six minutes and seven seconds, which was a season best.
