SBCC won the last four singles Tuesday afternoon and went on to beat Glendale 6-3 in a WSC women’s tennis match on the Pershing Park courts.
Amy Sagraves, Meike van Hoogenhuijze, Anna Slyutova and Kendra Ross posted singles wins for the Vaqueros (7-3, 5-2), who improved to 4-1 at home.
SBCC blanked Glendale 9-0 in their first meeting on Feb. 24.
“Their team has improved greatly,” said coach Debbie Ekola. “We had to work for this victory.”
The Vaqueros travel to Ventura on Friday.
