Sean Searls shot a 3-under par 68 to lead five golfers under 80 as Santa Barbara defeated San Marcos 375-405 in a Channel League match at Montecito Country Club.
“Our depth again proved crucial,” said Santa Barbara coach James Bedard. “Sean played terrific golf the whole day and rebounded from his first bogey of the day on 9 by birding 10 and 11. Mickey (Kirby) had four birdies and hit the ball great today finding the fairway off the tee most of the day.”
