Laguna Blanca got another strong outing from its doubles teams, and Alex Shirokow-Louden won two singles sets, leading the Owls to a 12-6 boys tennis win over Villanova.
“We continue to ride a hot streak in doubles play,” said coach Trevor Thorpe. “We’re 25-2 with our doubles starters so far this season.
“Alex Shirokow-Louden played the best tennis I’ve ever seen him play today and gave us some sorely needed singles wins to give us some breathing room,” said Thorpe.
Laguna Blanca improves to 4-0.
