Lane Fuller shot an even par 71 to lead the Dos Pueblos golf team to a 384-414 non-league win over Rio Mesa in the season opener at Glen Annie Golf Course on Thursday.
“It was nice to defend our home course,” DP coach Rob Schiff said. “Lane had a nice even-par round. He shot two over on the front and two under on the back.”
Carson Curtis fired a 74 and Michael Yi a 75 for the Chargers.
“We played pretty well. It’s good early in the season to see what different guys are capable of,” said Schiff.
