Simo El Azzouzi posted victories in singles and doubles on Tuesday but Glendale still got past SBCC 6-3 in a men’s tennis match at Glendale.
El Azzouzi posted a 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 3 singles and Rob Herr prevailed in the No. 5 spot. El Azzouzi teamed up with John Rosenkvist to win the No. 3 doubles 8-4.
SBCC fell to 0-7 overall and 0-5 in the WSC. Glendale is in second place at 4-1.
“Glendale is a tough team and they have a little more experience than we do,“ said coach Ryan Heinberg.
The Vaqueros will complete a four-game road trip on Thursday against L.A. Pierce in Woodland Hills.
