Santa Ynez captured 10 boys varsity events on Saturday and brought home the boys and girls titles in the Rincon Relays track meet at Carpinteria High.
The Pirates took the five-team boys meet with 132.5 points. Nordhoff was second at 110 and Carpinteria placed third at 37. The Pirate girls edged Nordhoff 85-75. Carpinteria finished fourth with 63 points.
Shelby Dunlap was a double winner for the Warrior girls in the 100 hurdles (17.82) and high jump (4-10). She also ran on the victorious 4×400 relay (4:26.26).
Lacey Bushey won her first-ever 300m hurdle race (51.30) and was on winning 4×400 relay. Kelsey Drain took the pole vault at 8-0 and was on 4×400 squad, along with Amelia Ribbens. Natalie Hipple won the triple jump at 31-0.
Carpinteria’s David Cornejo was first in the boys long jump (19-0 1/2).
