Brett Patton fired an even-par 71 to lead the Dos Pueblos golf team to a 375-401 Channel League-opening win over Ventura at Glen Annie Golf Course on Thursday.
The Chargers (2-5, 1-0)) showed good balance as Carson Curtis (73), Lane Fuller (74), Grant Amerson (78) and Michael Yi (79) all shot in the 70s.
The loss was the first of the season for Ventura (6-1, 1-1).
