Jacob Badish pounded 11 kills, and Dos Pueblos played a clean match in dispatching Royal, 25-23 25-22, 25-17, in a non-league boys volleyball match in Simi Valley on Friday.
“We didn’t commit many errors,” DP coach Chris Hughes said. “We had under 20 errors for a three-game match. If you do that, you should be in every match.”
Keaton Arutian had a good night with nine kills in 12 attempts and Carson Pierce picked up nine digs and served an ace.
Jackson Burke, a football and basketball player, finished the match with a kill. He did the same at Newbury Park on Wednesday.
The Chargers (2-0) play host to Westlake, last year’s Division 2 runner-up, on Monday night.
