Arroyo Grande ace Jesse Yancosek held Santa Barbara to four hits in posting a 3-0 shutout over the Dons baseball team in the Central Coast Tournament on Tuesday.
“He has a good fastball and a knuckle-curve,” Santa Barbara assistant Mike Cooney said. “He got a lot of ground balls.”
The Dons got only one runner to third base.
Nick Below had two of Santa Barbara’s hits, a double and a single.
The Dons (2-1) continue tournament play Thursday at home against Righetti.
