Dos Pueblos reached the semifinals of its own boys volleyball tournament on Saturday, eventually falling to tournament champion Bellarmine in the semifinals of the Dos Pueblos Invitational at UCSB’s Events Center.
Bellarmine came all the way from Northern California but the Bells are a familiar face, having now won the Dos Pueblos Invitational three times in a row.
The host Chargers won 7-of-8 sets in pool play to enter bracket play. Dos Pueblos ended up finished tied for third overall out of 35 teams.
The Chargers have one more non-league matchup on Tuesday against San Luis Obispo before begining Channel League play on Thursday at Ventura, which tied with the Chargers for third place on Saturday.
