Chargers give up five in 7th inning of 7-6 loss

Kyle Richardson went 3-for-3 with a double and three RBIs on Saturday but Dos Pueblos stumbled in the seventh inning of a 7-6 home baseball loss to Cleveland.

Michael Spiritosanto was 2-3 for the Chargers (0-2), who had twice as many hits (12-6) as Cleveland, an L.A. City school from Reseda. DP scored four in the third inning and took a 6-2 lead into the seventh. Cleveland took advantage of two hits, four walks and a hit batter to score five times in the last inning.

Joe Huthsing went five innings for DP, allowing two runs on four hits with six strikeouts.

  1. Looks like it’s going to be a long year for DP baseball. Well at least the foot ball team and the girls program (water polo/basketball) produced winners this year.
