Pacifica scored one run in the first inning and pitcher Riley Seo made it stand up, as the Tritons defeated Dos Pueblos 1-0 in a non-league softball game Monday.
The Tritons got a leadoff triple from Tatiana Alcala and a two-out single by Briana Garcia for the lone run off DP pitcher Hannah Harris.
Harris allowed four hits and one walk, while striking out nine.
Dos Pueblos got five hits off Riley Seo, but the Chargers couldn’t string any of them together for a run.
DP had scoring chances in the sixth and seventh innings, but Pacifica came up with big defensive plays to thwart the threats.
The Chargers (4-2) return to Wednesday with a home game against Cabrillo.
